Today Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received “Nairit” plant former employees, who had been holding a protest rally in front of the Government building starting from the morning.
At the meeting with “Nairit” employees Prime Minister assured that their salaries would be fully paid until July 15. “Prime Minister assured that until July 15 the necessary money will be found and our salaries will be paid,” former employee of the plant Anush Harutyunyan told “A1+”.
She says that next week the group coordinating the activities of “Nairit” employees will hold a meeting, where they will make a decision connected with their future actions. “At this moment it seems that our demand is being implemented, but we won’t stop our protest rallies after payment of salaries. We will demand to reopen Nairit plant,” noted Harutyunyan.
To remind, today Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Yervand Zhakharyan approached “Nairit” employees, who were again near the Government building, and informed that there had been a discussion with Serzh Sargsyan on the issue of the payment of salaries of “Nairit” plant former employees. Zakharyan informed that Serzh Sargsyan had instructed to pay the whole salary of “Nairit” employees until July 15. The total debt is about US$ 15 million.
